In 1972, Wayne Jividen became the second round baler dealer east of the Mississippi River as a Vermeer Manufacturing Dealer. In 1980, he became a full time farm machinery dealer by opening Jividen's Farm Equipment. Wayne and his wife, Jane, built the business to be one of the most well-known farm machinery retailers in Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky tri-state area. He first started selling Long Tractors and Wheel Horse Lawn Mowers (now known as Toro). Years later, Zetor Tractors were added to the Jividen's product line, as well as Bush Hog, Kubota, and Husqvarna. In 1998, Wayne's daughter, Kim, took over ownership of the farm equipment business and has operated in for the past 11 years. |
